Austin: Popup @ Revival Vintage

It's a fulfilling day out front of Revival Vintage, today. Cassandra and I headed over around 11:30am to set up along side of the shop, underestimating the time and intense heat Austin's Summer have welcomed us with. Unpacking and set-up took at least a couple hours, but the final layout was top notch.

A few items we featured were picked for Austin specific, but we noticed the locals seemed to be also keeping cook from the heat by staying indoors. Sonia (Revival Vintages' owner) and Carrie (sorry if spelling is incorrect), we both there to welcome us for set up and offered us some cool water and help if needed throughout the afternoon. It was very appreciated.

Once the day of pop-up was done, Cass and I packed up the trailer, headed back to our fantastic bnb, and set out for dinner.

Green Mesquite Barbecue had to be the best barbecue. Lucky us they stayed open until 10 on Sundays. Most places we looked at close at 9pm on Sundays. Not what we're accustomed to in California. Nonetheless, the smoked wings were to die for, and our server was gracious and shared her big, Austin smile. We're going back on the way out of town to grab a smoked wings bucket before we leave tomorrow. Make sure we call before heading over to make sure they are ready to go!

After devouring our wings order, we'll be on our way further South-East Texas to see more and do some further picking, before heading to Memphis and then Nashville.
